got a quick quote from allstate insurrance

Okay so I decided just for the hell of it to get a quote on their website. So they quoted me about 1k every 6mo for my truck. Then I decided what the hell i'll see how much it would be to add a 91 gt to it. Well with completely surprise it only went up 80 bucks!!! So I was planning on saving and buying the supercharger made for my 3.0, but not i'm thinking of taking that 2500-3k and finding a nice older fox. Around here it's easy to find one for about 2-3k. This is not a definate thing however just a thought. I know i'm probably gonna get crap about the post on the vw bug but my friend told me not to buy it because it does and has had some issues and doesn't want me to be stuck with it. So no more bug in my future. I thought it was freaking awesome that it only went up 80 bucks!!

Ok, I think my suggestion is going to be to stop posting what you are going to buy, and wait until you buy something and then post that you bought it. While it's cool your insurance wouldn't go up much, but, it seems like every couple of days or so you are going to buy a different vehicle.

I'm not trying to slam you or anything...but make up your mind already.

Yup, thats the way I am going lol. One day I am going to post on here with some other vehicle, out of the blue, and you will have no idea. Of course, it will take a while to convince you all, but you won't hear a word from me about any other car until I get one.

I had allstate for years.

Till I moved out here and they almost doubles my rates.

Got a different insurer.

i just did the quick quote, and both of my cars being insured would cost a bit less than what i pay with nationwide, under my dads policy, for one car only

unless you save EVERY cent of that 50k for 2-3 years, put it in a savings and dont touch it, and let it build interest.
