What would you do.. possible trade opportunity

Im considering trading my nitrous kit for a 1987 Kawasaki 650cc Jet ski that has other mods done to it. The body is flawless except for one minor crack in the fiberglass on the arm, and the guy is asking 800 bucks or some sort of trade for it. What would you do?

Jet Ski... Are you happy with the cobra's current power output? from what I hear it lets you eat up tires no problem already

Yeah I am actually... and to be honest if I put a 125-150 shot on there, thats gonna kill my transmission, clutch, tires, etc. I cant afford fixes like that at this point, and the cobra is defanitely enough to keep me entertained for a while. Also, I make it to the track like once or twice a year if that.. so it seems that just having a little street car with moderate power is serving me pretty well right now. I also kind of like the idea that my car makes power N/A. If i were to ditch the nitrous and want a power adder later... itd defanitely be a kenny bell blower.

heres his description...

Old school, but still popular in some places. $800
1987 Kawasaki jet Ski, 650cc, Westcoast Performance fat pipe, WCP intake and turbine.

Has quick accerleration and more power than average stand up. Runs great. Oil injected, low hours. Puchased NEW back in the day. Pic don't show it, but it is very clean/well maintained.

sell the nitrous, but you have to put a trailor hitch on the cobra. be a man and haul that jetski up there w/ decent torque.

well it doesnt have a trailer... i would eventually build one myself and get a little hitch installed, but for now id just borrow some friends trucks, throw it in the flatbed and haul it to the lake.

i'm from the south, so i'm gonna say jet ski > nitrous

the cobra is probably already fast enough to do what you want it to do
jet skis are fun

eh after seeing the jet ski, id keep the nitrous. im not a big fan of the stand on jet skis, im more of a waverunner kinda guy.

but if youre into jet skis and have buddies with them then go for it. the cobra is prolly pretty ****ing fast as it is, and yes nitrous will start to be pusing it. leave it how it is now and itll be more reliable. but hauling a jetski in the back of a truck is going to get tiresome. but then again you could build a custom trailer painted to match teh cobra, and then paint the jet ski to match, thatd be sweet. nothing wrong with using a car that has prolly more torque and power than most trucks on the road to haul a little jet ski around. hell a trailer hitch on a 13 second car like zims would be great.

I don't care much for nitrous, and some people on Jet Skis are a hazard on the lakes too, hard pick, lol. Trade for the jetski.

Thomas I was actually thinking of doing something along those lines. I may build a custom trailer, use my "zim rims" for the wheels of it then paint the trailer to match the cobra, and paint the jet ski rio red with a big black decal of the snake on each side of the front of the ski. I still ahvnt heard back if the guy will accept my trade offer of nitrous, so hopefully Ill know soon. Anyone know how much itd be to get a little hitch installed on a car?

yeah hitches are pretty cheap. go to your local hick truck superstore and tell them what you need. you can get ones to where you prolly wont see the hitch bar unless you have the hitch/ball on it all the time.
