dont you hate getting the "run around"

i purchased a product from comp usa a couple months ago and, long story short, it didnt work. i brought it back and the lady told me i could get a $70 store credit (purchase price of product) and ended up getting the same thing b/c the guy told me it could be defective and i really wanted to transfer data from the camcorder to the computer (had something funny i wanted to show y'all). so i exchange it for another one. well, that was this past saturday. i bring it back today b/c this one is doing the same ****in thing. well the guy at the technical support desk at comp usa basically told me he cant and wont install it on my computer. so i said "okay, fine" and walk about 10ft away to the return desk and put my purchases (program and audio wire i purchased sat as well) on the desk and demand a refund b/c it doesnt work. so the lady says she cant b/c its past its 21 day return policy and i tell her "thats bull****. i had a computer specialist try to install this and he had the same problem as me. can i just please get my money back?" she then tells me no and to call the company. so i did. when i called i told her what the deal was she told me the only thing they can do is repair, or exchange for the same thing.


**** comp usa and **** this usb instant video cd thing i bought

sorry man, i hate usb video...you should just get yourself a firewire card and a converter (if your cam isn't digital)

I love Comp USA, they are really good here, well its the only store in Indiana, but neway I use Firewire...

Best buy SUCKS BALLS haha they are over priced, and there tech support SUCKS!! but its all good, yea our comp is really good, but my buddy is a IT guy for HP so he does all my PC work. circuit city has VERY little PC stuff here at our store

**** Comp USA. We had a problem with the video card awhile back in the family computer years ago, they replaced the hard drive and the video card saying it was both. So all my data? Gone, bye bye! **** yeah Comp USA!

all she told me to do was call the company.

one way or another, i'm not getting ****ed outta $70. i work too hard for my money to just get ****ed out of it, uncle sam does that enough with my check as it is (taxes for those that didnt know already)
so i'm either gonna bring it somewhere to get it to work, or sell it on ebay or something. i really dont know. i'm too pissed at this whole situation....

I must be the only person who likes 'em. I've taken stuff back there and they took it back without question, they're prices run right in line with all the other big stores like that. It's well stocked and a nice store. Their sales associates aren't terribly helpful (at least not with really technical stuff) and I don't have any experience with their service department (or any other service departments for that matter), but if you're just going in knowing what you're after, I really like it.
