Getting ready to slap up the 8.8 soon

Well I got this rearend down the street for $100. It's got 3.55's in it now but i'll be going with 3.73's soon. Here's my pic of it. I removed all the rust and painted it black and put the control arms on. I'm waiting for the new rear end cover girdle. It's Ford Blue like everything else on my car.

Im sorry I didnt mean the post bad, I wasnt thinking about you having differnet lca's at first thats what i though you had painted, my bad.

nothing, they are fine. MM's are just better to prevent bind, which you will get with standard urathane bushings. The bind is created, usually when you really push the car to corner... and when this happends you get handeling that you are never really sure about. The sperical bushings help to prevent bind... its just a poor design on fords part... any are tons better than stock MM's are just better than all the others. The articulation of the bars as the suspension is pressured created a sidways pull on the bar, where it meets the tq box and the rear end is what feels the brunt of the force. Urathane helps but doesnt solve it, nothing does... the sperical bushings dont solve it either they just help alot more.

man, I though he meant the whole rear was Ford blue. Guess me reading comprehension sucks.

I have a stout axle ready for my 65 Cuda. It's entirely painted Kelly Green, except for the "Eat This" script on the back of the housing. Kelly Green is my racing color, in honor of my Irish wife.

No thanks I already have an alumnium driveshaft. I'm getting my car race ready now. I think it's time I start getting some times with my setup.

that's awesome Rob. I can't wait to see what that beast does in a quarter once you get finished with it. Assuming you ever finish her.

Thx buddy, I'm just shooting for anything 13.xx in the 1/4 running N/A. I'm sure that should be somewhat easy to do once I get the rear put in and the 3.73's. If not I still have that intake to finish up and put on then i'll be able to do it no problem.
