I love the 90's

i look back whenever i hear any song from the 90's. the verve pipe, korn, nin, creed, foo fighters, pearl jam all of it was insane. it doesnt seem like it is 2005. Sorry i graduated a few weeks back and it just now hitting me. I miss turning on any rock station 8 years ago and hearing songs like 'what its like', 'everlong', and 'under the bridge'. All this new stuff is just garbage. what happened to all the good music. I have to give it to the 90's

i told someone about that a few months ago...

think of all the bands/genres that define the 90s.. stone temple pilots, nirvana, sublime, korn, kid rock.. it even goes as far as backstreet boys, britney spears, etc... grunge metal, rap, punk, etc...

now think about the 00s... what defines the 00s? what big bands popped up? what genre become popular? nothing.

there are very few good bands right now. Most are one hit wonders.

some of my favorite music is from the 70's-80's. Doesnt even have to be heavy stuff for me. I like Journey, Melencamp, Prince just a bunch of stuff. I listen to harder stuff from today too, but still cant replace that older stuff. Also like country

Bands I really enjoy lately...

Dave Matthews
Audioslave
The Bravery
The Killers
System of a Down
Black Crowes

Lots of other rock. Theres not a lot of new stuff coming out lately and even if there is, youre lucky to find something halfway decent.

system of a down has some good stuff for '00..

guns n roses broke up and most joined a new band called velvet revolver which isn't bad at all (I could be wrong this may have been 90s too but I thought it was only like 2 years ago)

green day isn't too bad.. queens of the stone age have a decent new CD out..

Velvet Revolver was 2 years ago, Slash, Duff, and the drummer (can never remember his name) pulled in this guy named Dave, and then Scott (cant remember last name) which was the lead singer from Stone Temple Pilots
