won't be working on the '02 anymore

Well saturday goes along pretty typical day at work, all the guys go out for lunch.. I get a cheddar jack cream soup and a bbq beef sandwich, was great..

And that's the last thing I remembered until sunday morning

Appareantly, according to the coworker who called me on sunday - around 3 PM saturday we had finished working on my 'rear' (you guys should know what I was doing with it..) and went out for a test drive.. the tech that helped me out most with measurements wanted to drive, sure why not, I'm never a passenger in my car anyway..

well the story goes, the street about 2 minutes from my dealership lot.. has a cross road, where we have the right of way (35 MPH) and the cross road (same MPH but no one ever follows it) someone blew through it, the guy driving said 'whoah, did you see that?' then we got T-boned, appareantly in my door (I haven't seen the car yet) someone else ran the stop.. said he was doing about 45 MPH and we ended up on the other side of the street

I was told the car was hit so hard the roof buckled.. He also said that all I could say was my head hurts

Long story short I was helo'd to a hospital and I don't remember anything between lunch saturday and about noon sunday, and I was just released today... I had a huge concussion with amnesia and all that BS..

I'm as sore as hell now, I haven't had any pain meds in maybe 5 hours now.. percocets are on the way though..

**edit - cliff notes, I was a passenger in my 02 and we got tboned by a guy blowing a stop sign about 45 MPH, who hit my door, '02s likely totalled and I suffered a major concussion
/cliff notes

yeah it was my car, I heard it was bad too

I'm impressed with how well the mustang protected me being T boned in my door at 45 MPH.. it was definitely just to the side going from the bump on my head.. but nothing broken, just very very sore..

If the roof buckled, things are not lookin good for your stang. But like you said, dreams of Mach 1s are nice. :yup:

As nice as it'd be it wouldn't be practical for me.. believe me... plus I've never liked the looks of cobras quite as much as the mach 1s..

and the mach 1s are like the older snakes with a solid rear axle

I am sure glad nothing major happened to you. Sorry to hear about your car. I am suprised by the many stangs I see totaled and people walk away. It does say something about the safety of the stang!!
