Very nice, I can see a dark blue for a final color on that model, with a touch of metal flake.

My plans are to restore back to new condition. its my moms car so she wants it that blue color for the finish. I mean the color doesnt matter much to me, im trying to talk her into letting me drop a 351 cleveland into it and switching out the automatic 3-speed to a manual 6-speed. She's not liking those ideas to much. We couldnt find an original hood, we did find one but it was really rusted over and it looked like the engine before it caught fire, so we went with a new mach1 hood. The only non-original thing she let me put on, and she doesnt like it.

is it a 302 or 351w cant really tell from the pic, if its a 351w keep that. parts are easier and cheaper to find.

Its a 302, hince why i wanna get a 351w for it.... I'm keeping it regardless, its a classic, and a mustang. Gotta love it, been in love with it since i first saw it. My mom bought it in 1972 for 3,000, and she got married and gave it to my grand-pa and he gave it to my aunt and she just let it sit around for liek 5-10 years, so that is why its in the condition its in. Sat out threw all types of weather. So its really rusted in some spots, i have to replace one of the wheel wells, the back passenger floorboard is going out. So I have alot of work on my hands here, but its worth it.
