damn it, damn it, damn it

I got a pretty nice case of tonsilitus... I've already missed two days of work, and I'm gonna miss tonight too. last night was the first I had eaten anything in 2 days... and I was ony able to do that by extremely deadening my senses in my throat... (gargleing salt water... and something else). I have pics of my red swollen throat I can put up sometime. Basically, I'm hoping to get over this. I had it twice last summer in 2 weeks... and have never had it before that. To go along with the throat is a pounding headache that Tylenol and Ibuprofen can't stop... hopefully that'll go away too.

they won't take them out... I begged him last summer too, because it hurt real bad last summer, and he wouldn't. Supposedly, there's some advantage to having them in... like they filter some crap out of your system now, I don't know. I've been sucking throat soothing drops all day, and I gargle warm salt water. That really helps, but it burns pretty bad some times.

I am feeling much better right now... my dad drove to my work and picked up my check.... $1141 before deductions. $870 after, and I'll get back something like $250 of those deducts as returned taxes .... ahhh, how good it feels to get PAID... except I missed the check pool, and I would've had 4 5's... yes, same rules as poker... since I donate the $2 every paycheck to play, and I would've won... I would've won roughly $55-$60.... oh well

I think they have something to do with your lymph system. I don't really remember.

They don't usually take them out if they haven't by the time you're a late teen, because children do MUCH better with that surgery than adults.

Yup. I've had trouble with mine, and my ENT really discourages removing them.

as long as they don't hurt, I don't mind them... it's when they TOUCH each other because of being swollen that I have problems.
