Someone had to be watching over me, the whole trip seems more like a dream than anything real, but I know it was real. I should keep something like that in my car, yes. I will probably get another stang, but most likely not a vert this time, kinda off on those for now. Might go for an 06 Mustang GT coupe, not sure yet. Lot depends on how much my insurance goes up.

In a pinch besides glucose tables you can grab a snickers or a heavy sugar drink like a Grape or Orange soda which has boat loads of sugar in it.

I have not seen my car, sorry, I would like to see her, but I am afraid there isn't much left after that wreck from what I heard. I actually have to find out where it is, Patrolman gave me a card with the name of the towing company, but it got lost, so I have no clue where she is, I did find the ticket he gave me and his name etc, so I plan to try again tomorrow to get ahold of him. I really enjoyed this car, it was my favorite of all the mustangs I have owned. I don't believe I want another vert after this though.

That sucks. You said something about a ticket. Did they write you a ticket? As in a citation?

I'm curious as to what the stang looks like. I know it's totalled if it rolled, but rolled stangs, especially those with the suspension yours had, are not common at all.

Yeah, I want to see what is left of it too, I have to find out where it is then get someone to take me there. I need to get ahold of GEICO again too and see if they found it. I wish I had put a roadrace roll bar in there like I had planned too. Just to replace the top, not counting the frame of it is like 800 or more, and that was a few years back when I had my 86.

I talked to the guy who towed my car in yesterday, he said there is not much left of her at all. Sad, said the rear end is broken, the engine may be good, transmissioin is iffy. Yes, Trooper wrote me up for careless and wreckless because he said I knew my sugar was low and did not do anythiing about it. sheesh, I tried, don't even remember much after that stupid jerk at baskin robbins would not take my credit card.

I would go to court on that ticket. The cop is presuming by saying "I knew my sugar was low and did not do anythiing about it" He is a dick and knows nothing about diabetes and its effect. You can go from ok to passing out rather quickly. It is also bad because in a car you dont have the tell tale signs of equilibrium problems you would have if you were walking. I have had a sugar crash and I was shocked how fast it hit and how it left me.

Fight the ticket

sounds like a good plan, i got to know some one who has it very well over the last couple of months. i never knew how much it could affect a person. its a terrible thing, and you deff should not be getting a ticket for an illness.

I don't really have a choice, mandatory court appearance on the 27th of July, I won't even be able to drive by then.

I don't agree with the ticket either....I mean they will probably get away with careless, but wreckless i think not... you should probably get your doc/ physician to say something or make them relize how quick low blood sugar can hit you.... and like you said, you tried to get something at baskin robins but they wouldn't take your card.
Good luck with the court man!

I feel like it was an accidental insulin overdose, could have been much worse, I could have gone into a coma. Even with IV glucose it took them several days to get my blood sugar under control.

Well, I got the word from Geico that my car is definitely total lossed, I didn't have much doubt it would be from the first. I have to go to the place they moved it to see it or get personal property now, but it is about 20 miles closer which is good. I will come out with a little over 3K left when they pay off Ford credit, that will go for a down payment on whatever I decide to get I guess.
