Internet forums

i have a question to pose to you all:

what do some of your friends think of internet forums in general?

i forgot the specifics of the convo i was having but i mentioned something that i heard on a mustang forum, and one of my friends just kinda looked at me like i was weird or something just b/c i was a member of one.

i dont see anything "weird" about it, i enjoy internet forums, especially this one

but i was just wondering, if some of your friends know you are a part of one, what do they think?

most of my friends really dont care, i guess it just caught a few off gaurd for some reason.

yeah people give weird looks when i tell them about internet forums.

im suprised theyre not more popular. hell theres a forum out there for every individual type of car. i just had to join the NewBeetle.org forums cause i couldnt figure out what this sensor was on my girls 00' beetle. she was like "how do you figure out these things?" and i was like "cause for every type of car out there, there is a group of individuals who eat, breathe and live that car. i can find anything about any car just by posting and asking the right question."

i have the DSM-tuners.com sticker on the side of my car. one guy asked what parts they made for my car, i told them its an online organization devoted to 90-99 DSM cars, he asked what a dsm is, i told him its the 90-99 eclipse, talon, laser cars.

most of my other freinds arent forum whores like i am. theyll listen to me if they want info, and ill listen to others from the sites.

I don't have any friends.......

Seriously though, Most everyone one I know works in computers, and since we have double monitors here, I can look at my SMS logs, read forums, and watch the weather channel all at the same time.

there are some people that have no social life besides forums, that's bad. But there is nothing wrong in belonging to forums. Anything in excess is bad ('cept for sex, lol)
