:worship: That my friends is the definition of a "clean" fox body.

Still, I wouldn't own it because I couldn't stand to drive a low mileage, clean example of one of the most limited production foxes. But at the same time, I couldn't stand not to...

The lisiting sounds very shady if you ask me. The cage ruins the car, and "never been raced or abused"- Does anyone believe that? Who goes to the trouble and expense of putting in a cage and harnesses in a valuable collector car and then does not race it? Please...

But anyway, its a nice car. But some of the things he did to it ruined the value of the car.

If I remember correctly, no. Also spoke to my friend Greg about this car, he is another extreme Mustang enthusiast, he says the same. Of course we could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they didn't.

Well if you read it, the guy that is now selling the car is not the original owner, so he probably doensn't know the whole history, in which case I would not have even bought the car in the first place.

yeah I talked to more people, R's did not come with cages, so this car DOES have some track time. Read the ad, stone chips, cage, and some boltons... doesnt sound very original to me.

It actually says in the auction that the car was used for open-track autocross events. Although he says it has never been "raced" just before this. Apparently the owner doesn't consider it a race unless he's actually competing against other cars. It even admits that there are small chips/dings on the front of the car because of this. The only thing that would make me slightly wary of bidding on it (if I had the money) is the fact that the entire ad is in all caps.

Some people will never learn...

yeah I still don't like the sound of the ad. Why would you go through the expense of a roll cage, all aftermarket gauges and harnesses if you never were going to race it?

like the ricers say: R=race. Cobra R's are factory race cars, and thats exactly what I would do if I had one.

I would only buy one of those to put up and keep in mint shape... unless I was so rich I could buy two, one to put up and one to have fun with

yes true the cobra r was built to race, but the guys ad is totally misleading. Just the way its worded gives me this leary feeling about the car. If I was looking for a mint 93 cobra r, I definitely wouldn't buy that one.

finding an un-molested fox is impossible to find, regardless of miles, i know a guy who sold his 89, 89-90K, was pretty mint, for a daily car, and had a cold air, catback, and lowering springs, he got 6200 for it
