Talking Yeeeeehaaaawwwww Felllas!!!!!!!

i'm soooo amped up right now guys. i went to go veiw an apartment today and it was enough for me, but i didnt feel right in it. it was $440/mo with all utilities paid, but it was an efficiency apartment with a total of 480sq ft. like i said, it was ok, i could have made it work out. and i was goin through some more apt brochures i had laying around and found another one that had a better looking property and called them up just to see what was included in the rent. she told me that i had to pay eletricity, cable, phone, stuff like that. i asked her if they were still running the $474/mo special and she told me "no." well then i said they must be back up to $499/mo then, she told me "no" again. i started feeling a little bad b/c she told me it was now $505/mo. but she asked me if i was a student, and i told her "yes." then she told me i would get a 20% student discount....... and that would knock it down to $404/mo. and what seperates this one from the one i saw today is that this one is 700sq ft and has a seperate bedroom. it has a 13x15 living room. right next to that is a 7x10 dining room. it also has washer/dryer connections (my parents are giving me their washer/dryer), an eating area, kitchen, bathroom, and a 11x13 bedroom. it also has a fireplace in it. the property also has a fitness center, 5 pools, as well as a buncha other cool **** too.

i am gonna go look at it tommorrow and get some pics for y'all, assuming they let me take pics.

its a great day fellas!!!!

WTF?

$440/mo?

The last apartment I rented was $1250/mo.

My mortgage is about $2000/mo

Why can't houses just be free?

I'm paying 475 plus utilities for a 2 story townhouse right now. Split that with my roommate and I'm paying around 300 a month for the whole thing. Very very quiet complex, no neighbors at all right now, I'm lovin it. All in a college town.

aight, so today i went and got all the necessary mesures taken care of to secure my apt. and got my application all filled out. i think all there is left to do is get the electricity running and the lease signed, but i'll do that when i pick up my keys on the 20th of aug. i couldnt get any pics from my camera, but here are some pics i found of it. the living room is the exact same as the one i am gonna have.

Hey...I gotta come down sometime when ya get it, have a big party lol. j/k.
The only thing I don't like about places like that...you gotta park like 50 feet from your door. I park literally about 5 feet in front of my door, perfect for those rainy days.

dang i wish they were that cheap here.

2bdr 1 bath 600sq ft was 850/mo, not including utilities. 1 room were like 650 bucks a month. either one, id still have prolly no money left over for modding, which, if you havent figured out, comes first.

but i might be getting a job that brings home 2k a month. its one of those "real" jobs, mon-fri 8-5 kinda dealy. then id make ****loads more money, prolly pay off the gst and sell it for a 99+ GT like ive always wanted, and still have enough to swing a rent and what not.

u can't find anything under $800 around here and for that price it won't even be in a decent hood. Good for me, bad for renters.
