Minnesota emissons Q.

A friend of mine is moving to minnesota, and has a few questions. Aparently they do state inspections there, and he has a few things on the "no,no" list....
its an 03 GT has Mac long tubes, O/R H, Mac CAI.
Now I know that teh H pipe has to go, and ibelive the headers and intake do to as there is no c.a.r.b number for them. Anyone know of a website or something that lists what he needs to pass inspection??
Maybe i can take his headers of his hands :chin: :shhh:

I think Carb numbers only apply to Cali don't they?

I have emissions tests here and as long as you pass the sniffer and visual your A OK.

Of course I know my garage pretty well. :pnoid:

have him put a catted mid-length X pipe (MAC makes one to match the headers..) if it passes emissions it's fine..

They don't have "emissions" tests in MN. My parents live there. My dad just registered my 89 s/c'd 5.0. All he did was go to the DMV, tell them he needed to register it, he paid for the tags, and walked out...He did the same thing with their other 3 cars, there wasn't any kind of inspection for any of them.....
