id go with the BFT idea. but gotta remember, more turbo, more fuel, youll need bigger injectors, bigger pump, tune, etc. unless you plan on just buying a big turbo and not using it to its potential.

unless the bike in mind was a Hyabusa, then id say bike. if youre gonna do things, do it right.

**** dude, you payed off a 0% interest CC?

id just keep paying on it, build up credit.

its just as bad to cancel them as to keep alot of open CC accounts. with open CC accounts, a creditor will look at them and say "well if something happens and he decides to max all of these open cards out at once, will he be able to continue paying minimums? should we trust him with our money if theres a chance he couldnt pay it back?"

i have one CC(capitol one, 2k limit) and my Dell account, and my car. thats it. i have "light credit" as my bank says. oh well. ill have nice credit once my car is paid off. that and having the same job for 4 years, never missing a payment, and always having a savings account and checking helps.

It's more of a "thud". Maybe some moaning after that. Labored breathing, etc.

I think they call that a Harley and it runs 12s or 13s.

My bike only weighs 370lbs.

i do

-1g awd shell - 1000
-90-92 6bolt motor - 1000(hella cheaper if you look, i found one once for 300)
-forged pistons/rods - 1000(helps if you know how to do engine work yourself)
-shep/TRE tranny - 2500(not needed, but a stock tranny wont last long at these levels)
-large turbo, external gated - ~1200
-880 cc injectors, 255 lph fuel pump, aeromotive FPR - ~1000
-DSMlink - 600
-FMIC+piping - 500

were at 8800 now.

-sneaky pete nitrous setup(35 shot, helps spool time and intake temps)
500
-springs/dampers combo - 600

9900 to the T. with that 100 extra bucks, schedule some dyno time.

anyone can build an engine, but the engines that make power are either untouched (bottom end), or have been professionally built, you can slap an engine together, or you have properly build one, all the clearances to spec, all the machine work, and make 200 more horsepower in some cases, engine alone can take out up to 3K if you want to run 9's

you also dont mention roll cage, fuel cell, safety equipment, slicks, and other things that no one mentions

building a 9 second car for under 10K isnt as easy as you think

dude its awd, who needs slicks?

and they dont look at safety **** or regulations on test n tune nights, only when theyre doing bracket or et drags do they check.

building a 10 second car is easier than most think. come to the dark side and youll see that even 12's are easy as hell to achieve, and can be done(and has been done) for as little as 1000 on the stock 14b and fuel system.

anyways, back to topic.

AWD or not, you need at least drag radials for 9 second passes

and i dont know about where you go, but here, as soon as you break into an 10.99, you need a cage

I already have bigger fuel pump. I know about the fuel and whatnot. Don't worry, I would buy it all at once.

As for the bike -- Would prolly be a Yamaha 600. I just need a learner bike for now. Hyabusa would be too much bike for me now.

I am going to cancel my compusa card. I have had the Discover since 2000 and same w/ my other credit card I have. Don't worry. My credit is phenominal for someone my age. In over 5years, I have never been late on any payment I have ever had and have high limits on my cards.
