Let me know what you think about that dual core when you get it all up and running. I'm not going to be upgrading anything for a while (another year, if I've got any sense at all), but I've heard good things about those X2 chips. That's the same mobo I've got. I really like it.

It is a laptop... you cant custom build a laptop (cheap enough to get your moneys worth) plus Dell Laptops are good.

I've got a Dell laptop (700m). It isn't a gaming machine (by any stretch), but who cares? I've got a bad-*** desktop to play games on. I only need my laptop to keep my mind off the thousands of feet between me and the ground when I'm flying. Wireless internet and DVD playback are about all I use it for.

just make up numbers and words and featured, no one will know the difference, just include the following parts.

motherboard, ram, hard drive(s), cd rom(s), floppy drive(s), computer tower, processor(s), power supply(s), key board, monitor, mouse, processor cooling solution (fan, water cooling, etc), case fans.

then you should be set.

I play some flying games but Catia takes some power to really use all the modules with 3D rendering. The same can be said for modding your engine or buyiong a 03 Cobra. Most people will never use the available power 95% of the time!!!!
