Finally a real kill...

i was over in Pasadena meeting up with a Turbo Coupe guy, and he gave me a **** load of parts, radiator, electric fans, catback, springs, trunk lid, all kinds of ****, so i had the car weighed down a bit, i was supposed to be at the mall, meeting up with some friends at 7, i ended up leaving the guys house at 8, so i was in a hurry

an 86-90 Camaro Iroc was in front of me, and as we merged onto the high, i just took off, not wasting any time, and i see he gets on my bumper, and he couldnt keep up through traffic, once traffic opened up, he catches up with me, and tries to blow by me, i throw it down into third, reel him in, i hear him go wide open throttle, so i go wide open in third, blow right by him, throw 4th and just pull on him bad

TPI 305 was no match

the rest of the way home, i partered up with this nice looking Golf, 1.8T car, we ended up just ripping down the highway, just somewhat playing tag while cutting through traffic, it was pretty cool to get a little recognition from a turbo guy of another genre

whats not to understand? its a fox body car, a mustang is a fox body car, SVO mustang came with a Turbo 2.3L, thunderbird came with a turbo 2.3L

thunderbird is a smoother riding, more luxury mustang basically, and in my opinion, they look better than a fox stang, they have the same potential, most of the parts work, and not many people buy them for performance because no one knows what the cars are all about

not to sound like a dick, but people with your same misunderstanding is what makes having a car like this great

i still dont understand going from a v6 mustang to a v6 firebird. id at least gotten a ws6 or something. but anyways.......

turbo cars are a different breed of beast. theyre guttless turds till you reach boost, then theyre "hold on for dear life" fast. adding double the atmospheric pressure to a 2.3L doubles its "fake" displacement and he now has the output of a 4.6, mind you a 4.6 that has top end, power where you want it most. im on meds so im not gonna go into it more than that, but i wouldnt doubt tbird232ci's car is pretty quick.

theres a difference between "taking on" a STi and "taking" a STi. i could "take on" a gallardo, but i sure in hell aint gonna "take" a gallardo anytime soon.
