but I hate the fact that me and my girlfriend just broke up because we have to go to 2 different colleges.

Sorry to hear man.....maybe you can work it out later if she is a really important girl, other wise being at a big college will give you plenty of opportunities to meet other ppl too

i dont see how everyone goes to all these college partys, is in a frat/sorority etc etc AND gets a good education.... there is just no way.

I remember a while back I went to visit my friend in Gainesville, she threw this huge keg party on a Wednesday and right there in her living room couch was a professor getting wasted

god, i am sick of all these "my girlfriend dumped me" threads. f'n grow up and stop complaining. maybe if you gave her some attention and not ME all of it, then she would still be with you. /end rant (blanket rant, not specific to you)

i think its actually beneficial to post those types of things on forums b/c you can get advice from third party members and sometimes the advice from strangers can be the best advice b/c they dont sway a certian way. they just go by the situation being told. they dont play favorites.

sorry to hear that man, its a natural part of life. it sucks, yes, but it happens. the thing to remember though is that most universities have at least 10k students, and most colleges have a higher girl/guy ratio. theres plenty other females out there, you just gotta go out and get them. they arent gonna just crawl in your window at night while your watching porn or something.

just keep pluggin away and good things will come

im not sad or anything.. im more disapointed.. im not asking for advice or support really.. just posting a thread just as pointless as some others. also, i stated that we broke up because we go to 2 different colleges.. not because i didnt give her enough attention...it was a summer thing.. kinda sucks though.

I bet I have. Just been working about 16hrs a day and been stressed. Plus, I have been getting fed up w/ other forum.

I wanna go back to school. I actually miss it. It's kind of funny that I'm going backwards as I get older. I feel as if I were 18 again, then I get hit with reality and responsibilities(major buzz kill). My only true gf and I broke up right before I left high school. I was a little heartbroken, then I got on campus and went crazy, I met about 10 girls the first nite I moved in the dorm(I went to Arizona State, 'nough said). You'll be quite fine my friend, besides, college is where you really find yourself
