Re: Gas prices

Look here U.S. crude oil sank $2.02 to $67.50 a barrel, having hit an all-time high of $70.85 on Tuesday. London Brent crude was down 24 cents to $67.48 a barrel.

Oil is going down while we are being looted by American cpmpanies raising gas prices. Two major pipelines in the Gulf Coast shut down by power outages after the storm resumed partial operation Thursday. There is no shortage only GREEDY GREEDY *** COMPANIES MAKING HUGE PROFITS OFF OF AMERICAN.

Like I said it is time to take action and force a slowdown of the economy and boycott Labor Day travel and unnecessary spending. Force these Leeches on our society to drop the prices NOW!!!

That's about to happen because trucking companies are having to park because they can't afford to drive anymore. And if anyone hasn't notice, 18 wheelers are the backbone of our economy.

Re: Gas prices

the whole boycott thing wont work. the only way we can do it, is if we stop buying from OPEC. In this country we have something like a 50yr supply of oil at our current rate of usage. tap into part of alaska and cut a deal with canada to tap into their area. (something like a 50mx50mile radius in Alaska to keep the greenies happy) build a couple more refineries and we will be set for awhile. that will suffice for fuel and oil for a long time and with us not buying from OPEC they will be forced to drop their prices. then we can basically set our own prices with them. if they inch it above a certain price we can say ok, well we will just use our own now.

gas here up 31 inbetween Maxwell AFB and Prattville, AL is 2.99 except last i saw the entec it was like 2.86 iirc. Up in prattville they have 2.99-3.09 for regular

Re: Gas prices

We have the oil, but no way to refine it.

So even if we used our own oil gas prices would still be insanely too high.

Want to fix the problem? Kill the hippies

You are wrong in the 70's America did exactly that. President Carter imposed 55 MPH speed limits, told people to regulate the thermostates in buildings, introduced daylight savings time all year one year and people cut back and stopped unnecessary buying and the embargo ended. within 6 months the US had cut fuel consumption by 20%

There is no 50 year supply of oil anywhere. In about 35 years the fields in Saudia Arabia will run dry. Time to build new technologies NOW

Now will panzey *** American bite the bullet and go with less. NO because we have become week, self absorbed, selfishpeople with a f**K everyone else attitude
