It might appear that way but you have to look at it this way. Screw the score. A win is a win. The need to get experience is essential and whe Tenn faces stiffer competition and Clausen is hurt they will have experience under fire. Take Auburn for example right now they only have one QB and last year only took maybe 10 snaps the whole season. Everyone else is a freshmen or sophmore. It showed in their loss.
I would not be to critical of Tenn at this point. It could prove UAB was a good contender. So worrying about the score when you win is pointless. We seem to expect blowouts these days.
Interesting thing is when the Bear was coaching at Alabama
he said a win is a win and rarely had absolute runaway games. Plus this is game 1 of a 11 game season with 2 more if you get to the SEC championship and a Bowl.
We seem to expect the top teams to go undefeated in college but we dont in the pro's. Think about it.
