i know. there are GS(non turbo) spyders with more miles and automatics going for 12k+. blue book is 10, wholesale is 9 last time i checked. the dealership i got my stang at wanted 6k for it on trade in, i laughed at them. but he straight up said he wouldnt take it cause hed rather me sell it for what its worth than him have to rape me.

i just want to sell it and get on life.

its funny too, every other car forum thinks im going cheap, while the DSM guys are like "WTF DUDE thats hella expensive". but then again dsmers are natural low ballers.

haha well a turbo'd eclipse going for that much is cheap to me. Specially since I'm looking to get a GT Stang and the highest I wanna spend is 12 grand at a dealership.

i sold EVERYTHING aftermarket that had could be removed and restored to factory. including turbo, exhaust manifold, fmic, intake, injectors, ecu(chipped for dsmlink), dsmlink itself and my laptop. aftermarket mods dont add to the price of the vehicle, so why screw myself over. i sold all the mods for around 2000 bucks, when i paid around 3k for them.

i fixed most the little things. convertible top now works, it was on manual cause the gear pins in both motors sheared. took them apart, stuck a nail for the pin, put back together and works fine now. pass and drivers side sun visors are on the way. pass side window goes up without hanging up anywhere.

yup.

and i owe 6k on the gst, if i get 9 for it ill be super happy. then the other 3k is going into a roush stage3 kit, paint, rims, and whatever else i decide to do, short of supercharging(prolly get some nitrous).

sadly no hits off the first site(craigslist). even being posted in the bay area. i guess theyd rather spend 13k on a non turbo, cause the salesman says the n/t takes stage3 turbo's better than the already turbo cars do. kids these days.

how quick as in 1/4?

never found out. i have bad luck with going to the track, which is 2 hours away. each time its something else goes bad. once it was a carpool lane violation, 350bucks. another the alt blew leaving the track, had to tow home(11 at night, no autozone was open or else id do it myself in the middle of the parking lot). another time it was a speeding ticket for doing 85(my excuse to the cop was i hate people who get onto the freeway, and THEN accelerate to traffic speed, rather than use the onramp for getting up to speed), cause i floored it on the onramp, went straight into the middle lane, then to the fast lane, then passed a big rig who happened to be hiding a chp on the other side of it, that came and nabbed me.

ive raced other dsmers who have ran mid 12's(awd though) and ate them up on the freeway. eaten a few evo's and sti's as well. all that on 15psi untuned(back when the gauge was misreading, and i thought i was doing 20psi), never raced anything at 20psi tuned though. i only had it actually tuned at 20psi for a week before i found the GT and started taking everything off the dsm.
