Im postponing it... its too hot. 98* and lots of humidity... not really ideal conditions.

Re: headin to the track tonight

i made my 16.3 in 92* and 100% humidity.

would a lower temp/humid cut how much time off? could i get it down to like a 16.1?

Yeh man, wait till late fall when it's down in the 60's and that time will drop drastically.

Re: headin to the track tonight

traction will suck though.

i think id rather go when its warm and the track is sticky. 60footers make more of a difference on track times than hot weather. losing 10hp cause its 100* outside is better than losing up to 1 second cause you cant hook up that night. then again, if you had something to tune with, the hotter weather could be accounted for, add fuel to ward off knock due to higher intake temps, less knock will equal greater timing. greater timing will equal more power.

Re: headin to the track tonight

If you can go on a nice sunny day where it's around 65-70 degrees then you have cool air but a warm track (sun warms the track considerably)
