Oh Dear Lord

I was invited to a "car show" at my friend's work at Circuit City.. they were giving out free things, CAI's, Sway Bars, alarm systems, food.. but whoever tried to round everyone up for this thing did a baaaad job.

Only like 7 cars were there and I went with my friends with their Evo 8. Nothing but a riced out Civic, Scions, and a ****ing gross *** Ford Focus.

Here are the pics..

Not many because my battery was dead, and so was my extra battery (real smart of me to not charge any of them). But there were only like 7 cars there so it didn't matter. One guy had on a custom wide body kit with custom paint. Not bad..

But LOOK at the Ford Focus and tell me what's wrong. **** it was riced the hell out.

Nothing Is Attatched To The Intercooler. Its Just Bolted There.

umm thats cause its not a intercooler

its a front mount CAI. though its still not hooked up.

the scion is pretty nice, i like the color and the body kit goes well with the car.

my first question upon getting there, "so umm, anyone have any REAL mods?" and yes, whoever spread the word needs to be fired.

THAT is a front mount CAI?

He opened his hood, he already had a CAI installed... and the tons of decals he had on his car I figured he was posin for a turbo'd focus

yeah, well hes still posin.....

its meant to fool people from afar into thinking he has something. a "inter-fooler"

this is the actual setup

and on a car


not a terribly bad idea, taking air from directly in front of the car, and at higher speeds, letting the airflow ram it into the intake. though the ram air effect is prolly little to null, since it will have subsided in terms of airspeed halfway through the intake tubing. and it would majorly suck if raining, though you could just turn it around, and let the rain hit the protected side and still draw in cool air.
