When they say accidents happen close to home...

THEY WERNT LYING

yesterday, i had my cars shuffled around my driveway, since im working on getting the red bird spotless to cover it for the winter, and hopefully have it ready for swapping engines come spring time

well, my dad comes home, im sitting in the living room, he walks through and i say "whats up Paw", and his voice crackled and he studdered and said "i hit your car", i thought he was joking, went out and saw his bumper was a little messed up and his corner light was broken, and my car was about 30ft from where i was standing, i looked up, and my door was rippled, so i was like "damn dad, you ****ED my door up", and he thought he hit my rear quarter and just nudged it

turns out, when he came down the driveway, he got my entire door, and pushed my car over a good 3 inchs since it was sitting in a little bit of mud

heres the pics of the damage

a local guy has a door for me, my dad and i will discuss what we're going to do about paint

Re: When they say accidents happen close to home...

I know what you mean.

I installed a stereo in my daughters car, whole 9 yards, head unit, amp, speakers, sub box, etc. Took me two days so I let her use the Stang. When I finished the install it was dark and I had her car in the wife's side of the garage. So after she left I went to move the Ram into it's spot. Daughter had parked the Stang behind the Ram, which was fine except I didn't even think about it and backed the Ram into the Stang. Took out both headlights, bent the horsey up, pushed in the front bumper cover, mangeled the edge of the hood and messed up the paint. My fault.

Ram 1, Stang 0

the difference between your cars, and my car is, you can buy parts brand new

im stuck with parts that are generally rusted out, or dented as it is, i just happened to luck out and my friend has a door for me, but i need to have a hole filled in it, since its a keyless entry car

My dad was driving my car and hit another car parking. I was in the passenger seat.
