70mm throttle body is useless on a V6 unless youve got something serious

Re: hmm...nitrous or 70mm TB

lets see

70mm tb - maybe 2hp/2ftlbs gain
or
nitrous - 50, 75, 100hp gains(depending on nozzle).

the choice is simple. nitrous.

Re: hmm...nitrous or 70mm TB

Throttle body is the obvious choice.

for pissing your money away. Did you think the nitrous guru would actually vote against nitrous?

so? even if you did that, it would still be a better investment than a TB

i think that if i had nitrous, i would have to refill the bottle like i refill the gas tank

Re: hmm...nitrous or 70mm TB

eh, doesnt cost that much for refills though. i think its 15$ for a 10lb bottle down at a local race shop. a 10lb bottle should last something like 1.5 to 2 minutes @75shot. thats like 8 pulls if you run 15 second 1/4. even longer if the bottle is properly warmed.

Re: hmm...nitrous or 70mm TB

holy hell. Where can you fill a 10lb nitrous bottle up for $15???? The cost of nitrous is $3-4/lb So you're sitting at about $40/refill

It's $150 a bottle over here, but it's still fun
