Google Chrome Beta

I just downloaded it and it seems to be pretty stable through my browsing so far. I love the bookmark syncing though I hate how Google Chrome doesn't allow you to move the bookmarks around. For instance, I love how IE allows you to move your bookmarks to the left of the webpage. That feels so much natural.

I guess I will be using it as a default browser. I was holding out for RoboForm support but I still have RoboForm installed and if I need a password I can just go into it and get it. Chrome is so much faster at rendering pages than IE8.

Re: Google Chrome Beta

I use Chrome for most of my surfing and haven't seen many issues. It seems to be faster than either Firefox or IE.
As for bookmarks, I use Google Bookmarks and just attached a link to the Bookmarks Bar. Not perfect but it works.

Re: Google Chrome Beta

I just switched over to chrome full time again as well, tho I am running the Dev version. I like bookmarks up top myself. Of course thats also where I have my start bar and such in windows so I like everything real nice up there all in one area.

Re: Google Chrome Beta

I'm on FF 3.6 Beta since recent updates to 3.5.3(?) and 3.5.5 seemed to piss me off, causing crashes. When FF acts up a bit I'll go into Chrome and it's really growing on me.

Here's the thing I will get a lot of flaming for: I don't close my browsers, ever. In fact I have probably about 70 tabs open, after some clean up. I know it has to do a lot with my crashing issues but I leave them open for reasons. I have all my school work open and my personal stuff open as well (email, calender...) as well as M.E. The thing is too is I get an idea and use a tab for it, like a notepad and I'll forget or have to put off going back to a tab doing what I had intended for it and finally closing it. My other problem is that I can't close some of these because I have a bad short term memory. Probably about 10 or so tabs relate just to music I want to look into.

Re: Google Chrome Beta

I've been using chrome for about 6 months now. I really like it. The only complaint I have is that sometimes when you click on a link it will say "oops that link appears broken" but if you click the refresh button it will pull it up.
