Dude that is not cool. He is a great athlete and did not deserve that. It was a accident and I hope for a speedy recovery. Alabama deserves both to be #7 and a little break. Last year they had almost the same exact team and would have been good then but with so many injuries and setbacks they were devastated. I am a Auburn fan but I root for Bama until the Auburn game. My dad went to Auburn, my Mom went to Alabama, I went to Auburn, my sister said hell no and went to LSU.

he's in for some serious recovery and surgery. I would not be surprised if he has permanent nerve damage. That was a completely unnecessary shove.

a break that ugly could easily be career damaging, at the least.

He's young and I'm sure he's in really good shape. It won't be easy for him...but I bet you see him again next year.

I agree the guy is a damn fine player to just give up.. I see him coming back as well.

He made watching the games so exciting... much like when Freddie Milons was playing for Bama... he could change the shape of the game in a heart beat with some amazing plays.

Man I sure hope so... when I watched that happen I about threw up the 8 beers that were in me. I hope he gets better quickly and can come back and be as good as he already was for the rest of his career.

Corey I think you misunderstood me... I didnt mean my comment in a negative way at all. I think its aweful what happened to him, and to be honest he took it like a champ. After it happened he sat on the ground and was pointing to his leg to another teamate saying it was all sorts of screwed up... then I saw it just flailing in the wind and knew it was really really bad. I hope for the best for him, and I actually love seeing bama do well, theyre a great team this year.

Re: Alabama No. 7

I tell you what, I was watching that game and saw that break live and the replays. I thought that I could feel his pain it looked that bad. At least they only replayed it a couple of times. Bama is a good team, although I am a VOLS fan. Protho will be missed by Bama on the 22nd.
