I know Ingram is good but i didn't really follow him so I don't know how good he was. I agree with Pure Venom, I think they picked the wrong guy as well.

It getting closer to seeing these two teams stuggle with each other! It kind of reminds of the 05 Championship game between Texas and USC!

TCU fell apart against BSU. Now we will never hear the end of it from BSU saying they can take on any team in the nation and win!

Read this on an LSU forum in the SEC section, figured I would post it here just to fan the flames of the upcoming game. It kind of reinforces why I am pulling for texas to win because a lot of the bama fans on that site sound like this guy. lol

Good Morning Texans.

Executed anyone today, or are you taking the week off for the BCS Championship Game?

I wasn't really sure that Texas was a state. I always considered it kind of a transition zone between Mexico and America. But I know you have a football team. I know your team is kind of "in the club" like we are, the club of really good football programs. Of course, we worked to get there and you guys are like the doofus whose doofus grandpa happened to find oil in the dying cornpatch in the back yard. Trust fund babies. But hey, you're in there, even if everyone else laughs when you get blind drunk and throw up on the golf course.

I know you have won some games against Alabama. I know you cheated in 1964 when Kenny Stabler was in on the quarterback sneak. I know Earl Campbell was out of bounds in the 1980 Cotton Bowl. I know one reason that you are good is that whenever Texas A&M has a good coach we take him and whenever we have a psychotic nasally whiner with a serious need of a B-cup, we ship him to College Station.

I know all about you. I have seen a movie about Texas. No Country For Old Men. I have even been to superhip Austin. No Country For Straight Men.

But I don't think you realize what is going to happen on Thursday. I think you guys are pretty good. Colt McCoy and Shipley Jordan could be the Tim Tebow-Riley Cooper love story of the Big 12 if Colt had actually reached puberty yet. But remember what happened in the Nebraska game? Well, Ndomakong Suh is Swahili for "Marcel Dareus' wormy little brother." Dareus won't just sling Colt like a rag doll. He will make him bounce five times. And that's just the beginning, Shorthorns...

Mark Ingram is going to run over you until he gets tired of running over you and lets Trent Richardson run over you. Rolando McClain is going to hurt Shipley Jordan so bad that he gets a seventh year of eligibility. Nick Saban is going to coach rings around Mack Brown, who is just sort of a football version of Jeff Daniels to smarter brother Watson's Jim Carrey in "Dumb and Dumber." Colin Peek will score three touchdowns. Greg McElroy will burn his Texas driver's license out of sheer embarrassment. Terrance Cody will eat your freakin' cow mascot at halftime.

You can try to hang on like your forefathers at the Alamo, or you can save yourself the butt-kicking they took and just give up in the third quarter. Maybe your governor will let you secede from the game then. Either way, we will make your *** quit. Enjoy looking up at TCU in the polls on Friday morning and wondering if you will ever even be the best program in your own God-forsaken Gateway-From-Guadalajara State again.

Wow... Sadly, I don't find that extraordinary at all... That is basically what I hear every day around here. This is why I am not listening to any of the local sports talk radio right now.

I don't listen to LSU fans because everyone in Louisiana is a poor black person that loots homes after a hurricane.

Oh, you mean using the internet/media as a basis to make sweeping generalizations is a bad idea?

Yet you are pulling for a state who's motto is to not mess with them... because why?

Yea, no Texas fans are cocky dumb rednecks either.

Go SEC. If Auburn or LSU was in here I don't care how many dumb retarded LSU/Auburn fans run their mouth (there are just as much of them). GO SEC!

Re: Texas Longhorns

I meant to quote you and Rob. You for the retarded comment about Bama fans being retarded and somehow Auburn fans not being (I've seen some very bitter and angry Auburn fans wishing Bama loses simply because they can't continue their winning over Alabama anymore and their entire Football program is back to where it was before 2001. Just another SEC team with one game a year to look forward too). Now this doesn't apply to you as far as comments you have made but if you are going to talk about some dumb Alabama fans you should look to your own side too. There are equally as dumb barners on your side.

Then there is rooting for Texas just because a few Alabama fans on the internet said dumb ****.

Like LSU fans and Texas fans don't have those too. *sigh*

I find it's hard to enjoy Alabama's success because of all the haters out there hating for no other reason than Alabama is back. Every single thing you talk **** about Alabama for Auburn and LSU and every other major school has.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Be consistent. You either root for the SEC or you don't. If you don't, then that's fine, but don't pretend you do and throw jabs at teams you obviously hate because they are in the spot light and your team isn't. Knocking one teams fans and acting like your own **** doesn't stink is retarded!

With that said, Roll Tide.

I also never said Auburn didn't have retarded fans, BUT you do have to admit, that there are far more dumb redneck Alabama fans than Auburn, and if not, at least far more outspoken ones. Take for example Curtis at work. Doesn't watch a lick of football, doesn't even know who Mark Ingram is, but he talks **** to me any chance he gets about me being an Auburn fan or how Alabama is great this year. Every team has dumb redneck fans. I'm just saying, being in a state where being an Auburn fan is the minority, and Alabama is playing for the NC, I hear and see a lot of craziness. I don't remember it being this bad when Auburn was undefeated (granted we didn't get a chance to play for the NC, but still). I know a lot of the more annoying ones are bandwagon fans that are coming out of the woodwork, and that is the unfortunate part of being the state's top college team. Trust me, I hate annoying Auburn fans just as much as any other annoying, ignorant, homer fans. There are a few Auburn fans I know that I refuse to watch a game or really even talk College Football with because they annoy me so much. I'm just saying that it has hit an insane level around here. That being said Go SEC (I'm sorry, I just can't bring myself to say it, haha)
