Post Future Mods Thread

Since the garage is down and so forth, I thought this would be a good thread to discuss what people are planning to do coming up. It's general, fools, not show and tell because it hasn't happened yet.

I'd really like to get a Yank 3000 torque converter...and maybe a set of 3.73s in the back. I can't really afford it, now, though.

1. pull engine out next time I am home so I can finish smoothing engine bay.
2. paint engine bay, door jambs, under hood, under trunk, edges of fenders and other body parts
3. put engine back in w/ 29" aluminum Be Cool radiator and Mark VIII fan
4. finish body work and paint car
5. finish all work on interior, paint, assemble, etc

7. rearend and suspension work

through out this polishing alot of the parts under the hood or buying new aluminum parts.

Re: Post Future Mods Thread

Alcohol injection and tune are getting done on Saturday, so I'll post further on down.

New rotors and Ferrodo pads
Samco radiator hoses (blue)
MOMO floor mats and pedals
Titanium front strut bar
New radiator and oil cap. (engine dress up)
ACT clutch

None of it will happen for at least 2mos though (well, the brakes might. I need new pads here soon)

Re: Post Future Mods Thread

bullitt suspension for sure.
fix my electrical problem.
do something with the interior.
I just want a brand new engine damnit. either a 4.2 stroker or a forged 3.8
street kit turbo

but i'm pessimistic as hell and i'm sure only the suspension will be a reality for me.

Re: Post Future Mods Thread

Purchase Roush Stage3 Kit and side tips and get it painted.

purchase 4.1's and new bearing kit, purchase new better clutch(tob is going out) and get all that installed at once(same shop).

then Mac OffRoad H-pipe with cats, and redo the catback piping to 2.5"(i had the muffler shop do 2.25 just for temporary) and have the exhaust all finished up.

then Deep Dish bullits out back with 315's.

then work on the sound system, 1 Audiobahn Eternal or Immortal 12" sub using my 1200w amp in a custom black diamond tuck trunk box, better head unit(so i can play mp3's).
