Re: ruined a cobra R

how did he ruin it? the lights serve a purpose, would you want to be doing the cannonball run, doing say 160 on a pitch black road with just some stock lights? Everything he did serves a purpose. Race cars arnt always pretty, the cobra r was built to race, and thats what he did, he build it to better suit his style of racing

that's because ebay doesn't have the option of 00 Cobra R...and therefore doesn't have the option of a 5.4L Mustang...and he failed to mention that in his description. The pics show the 5.4

even if the engine shot wasn't there you can tell by looking at the fuel cell in the back.

edit: do yellow wheels serve a purpose?

Re: ruined a cobra R

But you forget the 2000 Cobra R is a 5.4 with only 5 HP less than a 03-04 Cobra you could put a kenny bell on it and go WEEEEEE HAAAAAA. But the 75,000 is wishfull thinking on his part.

Its a badass car, but the vinyls need to go, and the owner/wheels need to be burned at the stake.

that cobra r isnt that bad. aside from the second set of fog lights(the ones that point to the front-sides) and the ugly rims.

If i had to spend $75,000 i'd put 10 of it into my own car, invest the rest and in a couple years buy whatever car i want with the interest earned and then take the original sum and open a shop or start a company making modern engines for any car more powerful efficiently without making them bigger. and have some property where i could pave a drag strip to test my components and rebuilt engines.

sorry to ruin your fun, but the cost of paving a dragstrip is around 250k alone. thats for 1/2 mile of tar, staging area, and a small amount of bleachers. the average good dragstrip cost almost 1mil, this including pits, larger bleachers, staging equipment and control towers, and facilities. not to mention the cost of insuring a piece of land where people pay to exceed the speed limit by almost double.

ah in that case id just buy a 1/2 mile stip of land that has a road in it. then, since its your land, you can have streetraces and **** on it since its private property and johnny law cant get you for any moving violations on your property(as in, there is no law stating you cant do a hefty burnout on your driveway, and no law stating that you cant drag race your truck on farmland, etc).

But..they can get you for disturbing the peace, as well as several sound ordinances.
