Which Vodka is more like REAL VODKA?

Ok, So this post is mostly directed at our resident Vodka drinker, Dark Entity... but I would like to hear everyones opinion.

My dad, having been to Russia as part of his WCA semesters (World Campuis Afloat), says that American Vodka tastes NOTHING like Russian Vodka. I tend to beleive him.

So my question to anyone who knows, is what type of Vodka most closely resembles the taste to Real Russian Vodka?

The fact is that Russian Vodka is not the best. I know this will irrate Alex but the truth sometimes hurts. I am a big fan of Grey Goose and finlandia made in france and finland

I to was a bartender

as a former bartender, i recently saw a chart of the best 5 in the world.

i dont remember the order, but i think this is how they were:
1) Belvedere - Poland
2) Grey Goose - France
3) Stoli - Russia
4) Absolute - Sweeden
5) Skyy - America

oh, and if you want to get technical, the Polish actually created vodka. I have tasted all but Belvedere and like them all pretty much in that order. But each one does have a distinctive flavor and each one tastes slightly different.

Yeah Russian vodka isn't good at all, or at least it's not to my taste. It's better than McCormick's though, which is the epitome of BAD liquor.

Maybe AggieSarge will chime in because he's been drinking with Russian soldiers before in Bosnia.
