$3385, if I remembered everything.... that doesn't count the accident. If you toss the accident in there, $7500

Re: How Much Have You Invested Modifying your Mustang?

When I'm "done" in February, after the turbo and everything that goes with it, and paint and install of Saleen side skirts, I'll probably sit at $8000, with cost of the car total: $24,500. Still less than what I got quoted for a brand new GT when I got my car. Plus, I "make payments" on the mods whenever I feel like it and not be stuck on a $350 a month car payment. I'll be faster and look better than a GT (possibly Cobra ) and be making 6 banger payments. Woot!

Cool Re: How Much Have You Invested Modifying your Mustang?

Counting all the new modifications listed in my signature, I've spent almost $6000 so far . . .

My wife and my co-workers think I'm nuts!

But modding my car has been a good learning experience for me, and continues to be very satisfying. I think it's especially challenging to increase performance and yet still keep a good level of fuel economy.

It's also quite addictive . . .

All best,
Joe
