Paypal screwed me over!

I sold a radio from my ranger on ebay for $60. I recieved $60 in my pal, then withdrew all the money from my paypal and put it in my checking out. Two months later, paypal emails me telling me that the person who sent me the $60 was not the owner of the paypal account, and that paypal had withdrew the $60 from my account (so now I have $60 and my account is frozen). its not my ****ing fault someone stole someone elses paypal account

Re: Paypal screwed me over!

That is so ****ing stupid.

How the hell can they put that on you?

That is just retarded.

This is what happens when you have no competition. I can not wait for Google to get their payment system out and make paypal not suck ***.

Re: Paypal screwed me over!

loophole i suppose. my mind is racing of possibilities of how it could have happened. it could be the person that sold it to you.. he maybe scammed you? or possibly someone who actually did steal the account. either way thats pretty messed up.

You legally aren't held by any end user agreement. They can do absolutely nothing to hold you to it.

Re: Paypal screwed me over!

That's why I immediatly withdrawl the funds from my paypal and put them in my checking account. They are not allowed to take money from your bank account without your authorization (otherwise it's stealing), but they can put a freeze on money they are e-holding for you.

Right...but supreme court has ruled that end user agreements are not legally enforceable. That's the precedent right now.
