You know Spector you have yet to say anything that has ever impressed me.

Actually, that's not true, you have impressed me, but not in a positive manner.

I've owned Dodges since before you were born and this is my second Neon.

I can quite easily hammer the Stang for it's faults, but I don't because I don't have an inferiority problem and my wiener isn't small so I don't need to compensate elsewhere. So grow up or shut up.

Nice....I'll give you a point for that one....

And I am just messing with you. Someone had to start giving you a hard time, I figured I would spearhead the effort this time. It is your car...if it's what you want, it was the right car.

Now, the one good thing I can say is, I like the color...it is about the same color I would paint my explorer if I were to build it up. It would be all ford except the paint....

The neons are faster than the vipers right? But the vipers get better gas mileage. :banme:

Do you have plans for the neon or is it a family/daily driver car?

Re: Spent $10k in upgrades

not bad for the daily.

my mom has one, its peppy at most. it has a really long *** first gear, and doesnt pick up speed till almost the end of the gear. its gutless down low. its fun on the freeway, itll downshift right to where it has all of its power(which again, is very high rpm wise) and wind out like no other.

did you get rid of the stang for that?

You can get them without leather. My dealer hardly carries them WITH leather. Your dad must not of looked very hard btw the seats in the ST without leather are so freaking comfortable!

I take it your mom's is an auto?

I got the 5 speed and boy first gear is a rocket. My biggest problem is that I haven't driving a 4 banger stick since 91 and I am used to loafy old V8's with lot's of torque and no need to downshift a lot.

I had a 96 Neon, which was an auto, and it was peppy, but it is a different beast than my 05.

I got teh Neon for two reasons, I got tired of the three hour kidney punch to work and back my Stang graced me with and it gets a lot better mileage. Plus I've been jonesing for a stick since I sold my 87 Diplomat.

It's my driver, the wife can't drive a stick and she has a shiny new 05 Ram for herself.
As for plans, well it needs swaybars. Maybe a bellypan. The we will see.
