Tech question

Ok.. this isn't about a Mustang, so I didn't post it in your technical forum.

My mom has a Pontiac Boneville - it the cars keeps stalling out on her. It's been doing it for months now, it just dies once in a while - usually when you just turn it on. Today, she had it towed to her house, because her car died on her at a light. I went over there, and the first thing I did was check the fuse box - sure enough, her fuel injector fuse was blown. I changed it, the car runs again, but it still stalls out - and when you're driving it it jerks a little like it's about to stall. It's obviously something wrong with how fuel is going into the motor. Any ideas what it could be? My guess is clogged fuel injectors, but I'm not sure.

When was the last time the injectors were cleaned? Maybe even with a bottle of cleaner from Autozone?

I would have to say in a GM it is highly possible the fuel system in general if a older car could be shot.

Ok, the damn thing PISSED ME OFF TODAY.. in fact, everything is pissing me off today. It stalled out on me at a red light when I was test-driving it, frying another fise. Lucky, I had a bunch of spares, so 30 secons later, I got to sit there, and enjoy another red light at the same intersection with a bunch of pissed off people behind me. When it's just sitting there idling, it's fine - when you're driving, or stopping is when it does this ####. I put a crapload of fuel injector cleaner #### in there, and it didn't help. I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, buy a ****ing domestic. Damn POS, I told my mom to get a Camry or Accord or something - but noooooooo.

Alex why are you so down on domestics . They are all made in the US does not matter which whether it is japanese or german they are all made here. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda all made here even the Korean car plants are poping up.

You can get a lemon car made buy anyone. I had a lemon Honda I went and got rid of it and bought the Mazda. My dad a a lemon Maxima. If you look at consuner reports or there is very little difference between auto manufactures and quality anymore

Every domestic my family member ever had, sucked... I #### you not. 1st off, they don't handle well - domestic cars are dogs in overall handling (no offence), and the damn things break down all the time. All my cars have been imports so far, and besides them being smashed to #### in a car accidents - i never had any technical difficulties with them - ever *knock on wood*, even since I drive them hard 90% of the time. That's the whole reason I have no faith in domestics, and this ****ing boneville just pissed me off even more. I still can't believe my mom bought this POS after I told her not to. I can bet my left ball, if she has gotten something that I would have told her, she'd be driving without problems with now.
