To good a deal to pass up!!!

I just got back from picking up a complete set of 99GT seat for 100.00 I was talking to him in passing, he has a full race mustang which lays down 6.9 in the 1/8, and he said he had these seat just laying in his dads garage. So he let me have them for cheap WOO WOO they are not leather but gray seats. Anything beats the crappy V6 seats BY GOD!!!!

Re: To good a deal to pass up!!!

This was one mod even my wife was happy about. She already hated my stang but she loathed my seats. She always complained how crappy they were and how nice the seats are in her 626 and she was right, The 626 seats are worlds better than the V6 seats

Re: To good a deal to pass up!!!

Actually now that I have good seats to work with I will have my friend Harvey who is a custom interior guy recover them in leather when I have the money. It will come out cheaper than if I bought leather seats and paid them to be shipped to me.

Re: To good a deal to pass up!!!

Nice

I've got the cloth seats in my GT and they are fine but I do plan to pick up some racing seats sometime. There just isn't the side to side support for my shoulders in the stock seats.

Re: To good a deal to pass up!!!

I took the seats to be professionally cleaned and they look like new BY GOD. Now tomorrow I will; take the old seats out and light them on fire in the back yard !!!!!! MUHAHHAHAHAHAHHA J/K

No I am going to have them professionally cleaned and then to the trim shop and have them stitched up where there was a tear and then sell them or Keep them

I am also going to deep clean the carpet in the car and then install the new seats!!! WOO HOO!!!

Re: To good a deal to pass up!!!

They are 99 GT seats. The color is actually 2 tone Grey, a med graphite center and med Opal grey side and lateral supports. They have pnuematic lumbar bags in both and the Drivers side dial to expand or contract the bottom seats lateral supports.

Today I pulled the old seats out and shampooed the carpets. I found about 4 bucks in change in the back seat and a buch of crap. So I got the new back seats and passenger seat in but I had to put the old drivers seat back in until Monday when I get it back from the trim shop. It had some foam on the side closest to the door that was worn and misshaped so I took it over to him to fix.
