Ok, looking for 3" exhaust options

I have been asked about whether there are 3" exuast options out there, and I remember one company had them, but I think that company is out of business now (QMP).

Anyhow, I checked out magnaflow and flowmaster's websites, but they suck *** as far as ease of finding ****. So, does anyone here know of any 3" exhaust kits out there?

Here are the specs of the car that I know:

1995 or 1996 GT
351 Engine swap

He is looking to run complete 3" exhaust. I have found just mufflers on those POS sites, but does anyone know of any kits? I am half tempted to tell him to get a 3" in/out muffler from magnaflow and have one of the performance shops here build the 3" piping...but he is looking for kits first I guess.

Your best bet is custom, because around the gas tank of a mustang can be tight with just 2.5", 3" makes it harder

having it custom made would work best, because not every setup fits every car the same

dude most muffler shops should be able to build you an exhaust, and probably cost less than most prefabbed ones.

Re: Ok, looking for 3" exhaust options

^true, but most exhaust shops(around here anyways) use crush bend not mandrel bend, which would mean that wouldn't be true 3" exhuast.

mac makes one

Re: Ok, looking for 3" exhaust options

there is a local exhaust shop that uses stainless, very nice, very good bending, very good quality. Im sure you can find a shop in the are that uses STAINLESS pipe.

I dont like Mac products, the fit and finish sucks ***, and there isnt many provisions for adjustments like most other catbacks, you have to cut and weld for adjustments.
