Re: found my new back ground

he should put the 3rd turbo in the cockpit beside him so he can show off the bling and touch on it.

there were a couple manufactured cars that used this method but didnt work out too great. alot of higher altitude racers employ this method on lower displacement vehicles(such as 4bangers), so you can have a large turbo(like a holset HX35 or bigger) which takes to around 5.5-6k to spool, but still have boost response off idle. theres a evo right now using this method. the hardest part is getting the setup to work right, as most SC's would become a obstruction when the sc kicks in. the evo uses a clutch like SC pulley(same concept as a a/c compressor), so when the turbo kicks in boost over that of which the SC can produce, it disengages the sc(which allows it to spin freely), and then gets all the power from the turbo.

Re: found my new back ground

interesting how the big *** IC blocks almost the whole entire radiator. i'm sure they know more then me but it just seems like a design flaw if the IC is like 3 inches thick.
but none the less it's sexy.

air flows through a fmic no matter how thick. my fmic covered my entire front opening and the radiator still got airflow to it. during normal driving and low boost levels, the fmic doesnt get hot enough to hear the air going through it on its way to the radiator. during WOT where the turbo/sc will have the hottest air, itll head up that fmic quite alot, but the air going through there to the radiator will be rushing so fast(from the car moving so fast) itll blow right through without much of a temperature variance.
