Cant buy common sense...

http://acrosstheboard.blogspot.com/2...-your-car.html

Quote:
The Ford GT began as a concept car designed in anticipation of Ford's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its "heritage" names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. Why am I telling you this?

One man located in Kansas City (Mission Hills/Prairie Village) waited 2 years for this $200,000 car.

He had this car only two days and had only put 9 miles on it.

He decided to try out how fast it would go- and decided to punch the gas pedal. When he didů he lost traction on the rear wheel and lost control on a bridge next to golf hole #17 at a major country club (Mission Hills Country Club) which crosses a small creek.

when the ZR-1's first came out people were dying in them alot and they couldnt figure out why. With more study they realized the people that were buying them could not handle the car... pretty sad.... his VERY espensive mistake at least he didnt hurt anyone but the Pole's pride

Re: Cant buy common sense...

good grief...if i ever had a car like that, i would not be flooring it for a while..especially not on a narrow bridge. Nobody naturally can handle 500hp, you have to learn the car and its power. He should have worked his way up to get to know exactly how the car handled and pulled before pulling that crap. the fact that it only had 9 miles on it is sad

This is why I always drive my dad's vette like right at the speed limit, never faster. I know people get pissed, but I'll be damned if I end up like that tard.
