new winter car

i just got my winter car, its a 03 neon srt-4 perfect condition, just over 2000 miles on it. lol but once they stop salting the roads, its all stang again i really miss my v8. what do you all think about the srt-4s? the only thing im really liking is the gas mileage, acceleration for being stock is pretty good but its just not the same. not to mention people on the SRT forums are some *****es lol

Re: new winter car

There not bad.. I had a Chrysler before loved it, but didn't like the repair bills. The SRT's have some power to em. I had a chance to drive a Caliber SRT 4 and it was a decent little car.

They are a death trap so don't hit anything bigger than a shopping cart.

Re: new winter car

i like them. put a little money into them and those little thigns haul, though id much rather have a v8 then a 4cylinder, those stock turbos if modded correctly turn into little beats.
i say this because on of my friends has one and has put some good money into it and is pushing 600-700 hp.

Re: new winter car

yea its a decent little car, maybe its not the safest because its real light with too much power for its good, but hell winter is only 4 months out the year lol with a boost control it will be pulling 0 to 60 in a better time then my mustang but i dont plan on putting in more then a couple hundred in that car, after the quote for the supercharger in the stang i dont even know if i want to put in any work on the srt for now. once the mustang is supercharged that little 4cyl wont be able to keep up

Re: new winter car

my buddy has one. its about 400 horses @ 22 psi. gt35r. its pretty stout. and my buddy mac has a serious skittle. put a 600 horse cobra on the trailer up @ m.m.p. in bama. unsure how much power mac has, but it runs low 10's in the quarter still spinning on stickey mickeys. he's sponsored though so budget isn't an issue with him. lol
