Lame or not?

So

I was thinking that I would offer, free of charge, my 4.10's + T-lok and fordchip to any local person

And my JBA headers, modified Cat+Pacesetter H-pipe, GT takeoffs and hangars.

All they would have to do is to pay all labor to take them off my car, and to install their gears and exhaust setup on my car..

what do you think?

just find someone whith another 99+ and just do a rear end swap. its easier than doing the gears and you and they can do it in a driveway.

Yes brent, they will fit on the pre-99's.

I believe the swap the first time was $250 labor and they needed a $100 install kit, so my price was in the neighborhood of $350

Brandon,,

I'm not that skilled to pull it off

short tube headers, and the V6 Y pipe has been cut and welded to the Pacesetter H pipe..

So it's a modified cat....

Seriously, Brandon is right, it's easier to just swap rear ends. Less BS, a little harder work, but it can be done in a day, especially if you have a lift and a garage to work in.

Go to www.v6power.net and PM "V6Sprout". He'll PM you back with an article he wrote about the swap. I did it in my dorm's parking lot with hand tools, by myself, through hot weather and the remnants of Hurricane Claudette.

hey ken - swapping rear-ends is easy. you unbolt the 4 driveshaft bolts, the 2 lower control arm bolts, the 2 upper control arm bolts, and the 2 shock bolts. i did it with just jack stands and a jack and basic hand tools. it doesnt take a whole lot of knowledge

Right now I have been thinking about saving for a GT and stop putting money in my v6, not sure what I plan to do.
