Re: Cobra recall

Yeah, this problem was discover about a year ago and people have been working to get it as a recall. Remember the cobra that crashed at mustang week last year that everyone said was a dumbass? Victim of the sticking pedal.

Most have fixed the problem by cutting their carpet a little.

Re: Cobra recall

i thought this can be a problem with any car and those ****ty carpet pads people put in their cars? everyone says "well theyll save your carpet" then i say "you can buy brand new, any color, premolded carpeting for your car for under 200$ later on, and thats alot cheaper than a wrecked car cause a stupid pad got under the pedal".

first thing i ever do is take mine out. theyre stupid, they annoy me, and they can **** your **** up. i still have the eclipse ones with the mitsu symbol on them in the attic.

This is actually a problem with the molded carpet and not the floor mats. Some cars were cut in a manner that hooked the gas pedal.
