Computer freezing up issues

Well the game I play, guildwars, was messing up yesterday and the day before. There was a huge update as a new part of the game is comming out. This may have caused the issues but it may not have. My computer didnt get HOT but it got warmer than I would like due to some people in my house like to run the HEAT this time of the year...

Anyway.... I have reset my router I am going to uninstall/install guildwars in case its that... how to I test to see if my connection/computer it doing what it sould in order to keep from droping from the game again.

I cant afford to, we are currently 12th in the world and a drop can REALLY screw us up... if we keep it up we may even go to germany and play in the world championships to win up to 100,000 bucks any help on how to make sure im stable in my game would be great.

Re: Computer freezing up issues

eh i cant give you any advice, i just broke my new pc last night trying to upp the voltages to the cpu and ram to the voltages specified by the manufacturer(the mobo shows .3v less than it requires), and now it wont start, doesnt get to the DFI lanparty screen before it flashes the bios, and the monitor isnt getting a signal, and my mobo "somethins ****ed up" lights are on.

Re: Computer freezing up issues

One day I will admit that I should have just bought a nice, stable Athlon. I look forward to that day.

It's like modding cars, the more you mod them, the more they are gonna **** up.

Re: Computer freezing up issues

the clock is not bad, its turned down a good bit, its like 200x10 right now~ and the Vcore is really low as well 1.5x or so~ I dont need it any higher really (i would like it a bit but i can live) I just want it to last a bit longer so i can build another rig. If it just wont freeze up as I play my game im golden.
