welder question

Im lookin for a welder to save me some money in the long run with stuff and wanted to know what kind and what smp welder to get for exhaust and things like that

I think my dad has a Holbart MIG. It also does intershield (sp?) wire too. They're pretty cheap now. He paid more for his becase he wanted to avoid building a cart for it.

I will ask my dad what he thinks he sells them.

I would imagine if you aren't going to be using it everyday you could go with a pretty small sized one. If you want to be able to control the weld a bit better you could go with a tig but if you never have welded before I learned on a mig.

Ill see what he thinks.

k thanks...i want it because i want to do my own lil stuff and my friends want stuff done sometimes and i can do it for them and save them alot of money

We have a miller mig at work idk what model it is though. The wire feed is broken right now so we havnt used it in a while.
