Silent Hill Movie

I watched it last night with my girl friend, two friends, and my bro.

Apparently I was the only one who actually enjoyed it

If you are going to see the movie, please please please PLEASE keep in mind it's based off a ****ing video game..

Some people in the theatre were so confused I was getting angry.

I enjoyed it because so far it's the BEST and closest thing that came from a video game and went into a movie version.

As for those who did see the movie, what did you all think of the movie?

Re: Silent Hill Movie

Some of the things they say in the movie is like "Uuuuuh right..." but I compared it to the video game and not to just some movie these people came up with

Not to mention, if you have sensitive ears to loud irritating high pitched screeches, cover your ears in the beginning of the movie. Christ I thought my ears were gonna bleed.

Yeah, if you are going to see it, that whole part in the begining of the movie when she gets to Silent Hill.. be sure to cover your ears or something, it's terribly loud

Re: Silent Hill Movie

You won't be the same if you watch it on your TV, if you have free time and you're bored go see it in the theatres. It'll be cheaper than buying it on DVD anyway

Oh and for those who saw the movie and liked it, I'm making a ringtone of the Air-Raid siren

Re: Silent Hill Movie

I downloaded the game on my PC the other day, and so far everything goes just like the movie. The game starts with you just waking up from the car after you spun out. You have NO idea what's going on, they give you no background on the game or anything. You just wake up and start the game.

I stopped playing it though..

The controls are ****ing horrible, and the main character can't aim worth ****. The ****ing enemy has to be like 2 ft in front of you to actually shoot and hit them. Otherwise you just waste ammo if they are like, lets say.. 3 ft away.

Buuut yeah, I wouldn't mind just watching someone playing the whole game as fast as they could just so I could see what the movie did different and stuff. So far the few things I noticed which were different were:

The main character in the game is a guy
The police chick is hotter in the game, she doesn't look so... yeah.
There are weird *** birds and dogs you have to shoot or run away from in the streets, doesn't matter if "The Darkness" is there or not, they are always there. Kinda ruins the fun of running around as fast as you can till an important thing happens and the air raid sirens go off.
Couple of other things, but I can't remember them. I just deleted it all off my computer, but I still have the game rar

It is a Console game. Play it on a playstation. It is SOOOO much better. I have played everyone of them on PS2 and LOVE the games. The controls are much easier on PS2

Sweet

One thing about the Guy being the main character. In Silent Hill 3 the girl is the main character
