first time donating plasma....

it kinda sucked..........everyone kept saying that you will fatigued and lightheaded and this and that ****..........not true, at least in my case.

my biggest thing was discomfort. that first time that needle went in, it hurt like a mutha****er and i was in discomfort pretty much the whole time it was pulling the blood out. a few times i almost wanted to tell the lady to just pull this **** outta me but i think alot of that was my fault, everytime i thought too much about it, i started to hurt more. b/c when i would talk to the guy on side of me, and not think about it, it really didnt hurt nor did i feel it. and right after, my arm hurt. i didnt finish no longer than an hour ago and i feel fine now.........no pain at all anymore.

i know a couple on here have done this too, so my question is, will it hurt just as much as the first time you donate plasma? the lady was tellin me something about scar tissue building up and over time makes it less painful or some **** like that, anyone know?

Re: first time donating plasma....

It doesn't feel any better next time !! If you keep doing it you'll get scar tissue and every time they stick you it's a little tougher to get in and if you let them stick ya in different stop you could wind up looling like a weekend junkie
Wait till they **** up and go thru the vein and hit a nerve or they don't set the weight wrong and you over fill the bag and then you gotta watch them squeeze the blood back into you

I have a pit in my arm from over selling my plasma

Do you own a home? If i was going to get a second job it would be because i needed it. I stopped modding my car because I am looking to buy a house with my girlfriend in a few years. If you are going to work your *** off might as well do it for something that is worth it in the long run. Getting a second job just to do unnecessary mods, is stupid if you haven't already taken care of more important things.

no, i do not own a home, nor do i make enough at this point with two jobs to pay all the bills associated with one. i think buying a motor with forged internals that pretty solid, replacing the rear end, and building up the tranny will last quite a bit longer than my car is smart IN A WAY. b/c eventually i will run into some sort of issues, but if its built more solid than stock, and i maintain it properly, the chances of problems are less

I don't think it's stupid, it's your work, it's your money. Do with it what you want.

your house is also unnecessary, you can live in a van, down by the river. It isn't because he needs it, it's because he wants it, get off him. It's his damn money, it's his damn time, it's his damn body... end of story.

I'm not hating on him... just think he's being a little too opinionated for the topic.
