Went to volunteer today for the troops
The place is called "Operation Gratitude" and located at this armory warehouse near my house. Me and the whole family went in to volunteer our time to help show our gratitude and support to the troops by making care packages.
So we went in, and there was this huge group of people working, grabbing boxes and going down this line as more people on the other side of these tables were throwing in supplies we were going to mail out.
The troops got sun block, shampoo, socks, magazines, bandanas, CD's, DVD's, shirts, hats, snacks, energy drink mixes, energy bars, 2 400 minute calling cards, soap, and a card stating our support and what we did for them today.
It was awsome seeing so many people there working hard, being so damn patriotic. Everyone was smiling and happy knowing they were doing something for the good of our country.
