Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

Other: Whichever happens to have what I need in stock and for the least price. I will check them all plus online sites for what I am looking for then go by price.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

O'Reiley's is a bunch of poons. Or at least the one in Athens is. I work for Advance (not Advanced), and as a result sometimes have to do business with them. Their business practices are very questionable. They lie to us on the phone about their prices when we call to price match and when we call about availability for a part that we can't get. If we can't get it, we call the other stores to find out if they have one so the customer gets what they are looking for whether it's from us or not. They have also been caught "dumpster diving" at the other parts stores, including mine, for sales records and such.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

That's funny. Most of the hard parts are made by the same manufacturer regardless of the store that sells them. There are a few that one store carries that the others don't, but 80% of the parts are made by the same company from store to store.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

Autozone, because they have some stuff that Advance doesn't have (i.e. the right weight Mobil 1 oil and they're not out of FL-1A filters every damn time). O'Reiley's isn't bad either, but it's a little longer drive for me.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

I just like Oreilley's b/c the manager and half the staff of the one here in town live in my apartment complex, so if I need a part, I just get them to pick it up at work and deliver lol.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

Damn these polls. The only real autoparts store is NAPA and it is not on the list you bunch of wack-a-doos. They dont carry junk and real mechanics or shops use them. Biggest problem is Napa closes on Sat at 1pm and they are not open on Sun so that sucks for the weekend mechanic needs so I usually use Advance, simple because here in Greenville to work at autozone you have to be a retarded, low foreheaded, **** for brains moron or you cannot work there. The Advance is only maginally better but at least the one near my house has 2 real mechanics working there. Pepboys has decent prices and a wide selection but they really cater to the ricer crowd but they are a long drive for me anyway.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

I must say, ALL the parts stores recommend the local NAPA if there is a part we don't have. Znd they usually have it.

Re: Whats your favorite auto part store?

I always go to the Advance in Decatur. I like the guys that work there and they've always been good to take parts back and stuff. Great service.

I go to the O'Rileys on South Parkway if I'm in Huntsville. Just 'cause they're the closest.
