4 Days and counting..

Yea, so remember way abck when when I was going to install a cam?

Well, I tried. Ran for 3 days, timing chain said no more. Tore it apart again, replaced chain, couldnt get it to start.

With a whole lot of bull**** time in between, its almost 4 weeks since I began the project, and it *should* be done thie friday. I also, made out better than I went in though.

My good friend keith (flamingpony @ V6P) ported my lower, gave me his powdercoated/ported upper, AND I have some nicely p&p'd heads with 3angle vlave job from Mik on the way here.

So yea, the heads are supposed to be overnighted to me tomorrow, and get put on the car in time for the weekend.

So I went in hoping to GAIN ~20rwhp, and now Im shooting for a total ~220rwhp

1) 20rwhp was just the cam by itself...everything ported and the cam is like a ~60rwhp combo

2) probably 15-20hp as well. Depends on how wild or tame you go. Youd probably need new valve springs to handle the lift.

lol yes, but 220rwhp is still a big chance. If I was 5spd I would probably have it, but the damn autos suck.

Alls I know is I dynoed 163rwhp before porting/cam. So well see soon.

And a vert doesnt matter on the dyno. HP is HP no matter what you weigh.
