I get around 15 in the city... just cause I typically get all over it. But 24 or more on the Highway.

Us 05+ owners don't even have to caculate our mileage... the car tells us itself.

We're just lazy like that.

Re: What is you gas milage?

I usually get right around 20-21 every fill up. Mostly city, but I'll jump on the interstate to drive to Decatur every now and again. If I'm on an interstate trip, I usually get around 25, or so.

Or could it be that I've got an auto, and not a 6-speed?

Nah, that can't be it.

The diffs between the gm and ford T56's are minimal anyhow. I posted the ratios a while back. I think the rear gear differences make more of a difference that the tranny gear ratios...assuming GM's have something other than 3.55's behind their T56.

Oh, and I get about

- 12-14 mpg city "driving like a human"...
- 22-24 mpg highway...

I run 87, I don't think I've gotten a tune up yet. As far as I'm concerned, if I'm getting this kind of milage I'd rather have another 2 cyls to compensate for this

6-speed f-bodies got a 3.42 rear-gear. The auto f-bodies were available with either 2.73 or 3.23. Mine's got the 3.23 in it. I don't know what they put in the back of the Corvette's, though.

Re: What is you gas milage?

yea your gas milage is bad then, are you sure your calculating it right?

I would change the fuel filter, both 02 sensors, clean the air filter, run fuel injection cleaner (the expensive kind), change the plugs, and other little stuff. Check the air in the tires. Do all that and you should get much better.

I don't think you know what you're talking about. I average better than the EPA city estimate.

Sounds like it to me. My roommate's LT1 with the t56 gets upper 20's low 30's on the highway, depending on who's driving.

*edit* he has 3.73's as well
