something strange I noticed on 99+ gt's

I've been surfing autotrader and i've come across atleast 4 or 5 yellow gt's and they are all automatic. Did ford do that on purpose or did it just end up that most yellow gt's 99+ are all auto's?

Hummm, I'd first assume that there are more auto GT's than stick, but that is strange.
Most dedicated hardcore Stang-Bangers would want a 5 speed for street work anyway,
so perhaps they are more prone to hang on to them, Just my guess...

It probably has to due with the fact that lots more autos were made than 5 speeds.

And that a lot of people ***** about having to shift gears in traffic...so they pansy out and buy an auto because it takes less effort on their part. Those that bought the manuals can be presumed to be more "gear head-ish" and more likely to hold on to their car until they are ready to upgrade.
